Paul Haggis (born in London, Ontario, Canada, March 10, 1953) wrote the screenplay for Million Dollar Baby (2004) directed by Clint Eastwood, starring Hilary Swank, Morgan Freeman and Eastwood, he co-wrote and directed Crash (2005), co-wrote with William Broyles Flags of Our Fathers (2006) directed by Eastwood, wrote the screenplay for The Last Kiss (2006) directed by Tony Goldwyn, remake of the Italian movie L’ultimo bacio (2001) by Gabriele Muccino. He wrote and directed In the Valley of Elah (2007) starring Tommy Lee Jones and Charlize Theron. He co-wrote the James Bond movies starring Daniel Craig, Casino Royale (2006) directed by Martin Campbell and Quantum of Solace (2008) directed by Marc Forster. For television Haggis directed the miniseries Show Me a Hero (2015) starring Oscar Isaac.
